Have you ever been to a party that just . . . just . . . well, it just got out of hand? What started out as a drunken celebration turned into a sobering situation in an instant. Frequently, those parties are in honor of an impending wedding, and those parties are called bachelor or bachelorette parties. Hollywood has a long steeped tradition of making films about weddings and the parties held in the honor of those about to be wed. Like The Hangover, which hit big a few years back and spawned two sequels. So it's no surprise that on June 12, in New York City, the greatest city in the world--the apex of artistic endeavor and other passionate pursuits--the film Rough Night is having its world debut. Personally, I liked the original title to this film, which was Move That Body, but that's just my hangup. Regardless, the premise is pretty wild, but may seem a teensy bit familiar. I'll tell you more about that later. On this esteemed occasion, five best friends (Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, Zoë Kravitz) from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to cover it up, they're ultimately brought closer together when it matters most. Oh, I forgot to mention that Demi Moore is also in the cast. And, by the way, Jillian Bell has a high percentage of the funniest lines, and her timing is terrific. Plus she is a fine physical comic. I laughed a few times while watching the trailer--can't wait to see the film. Ah, don't we love it when strippers are killed accidentally at parties? Reminds me of a film from 1998 called Very Bad Things. Very similar concept, except the celebrants were men and the stripper was a lady. I think the new version might outdo the old one. Check out the trailer via the link below. Right! We've got a comedy on our hands. And isn't it lovely that it's filled with lovelies who are fine actors and easy on the eyes? Hmmm. Seems like it was planned that way. Speaking of plans, if you're planning on making it to the world premiere, you're going to need tickets. Those red carpet VIP tickets are hard to come by, but fortunately, we already have them waiting for you. Whether you like the first title or the final title or the middle title Rock That Body, you'll love going to a world premiere of a Hollywood film. But, wait! It gets better. We also have passes to the big, bad, funky, private and restrictive after party. How does that grab ya'? By method of modern electronic commerce and without having to have a dozen bitcoins in your possession, you can make these tickets and after party passes your very own. We sell them by the pair because we just think it's sad to attend such a soiree alone. Don't miss out. Buy your tickets, take a shot of your favorite refreshing beverage and start the countdown. See you there.
